Community
QGC is committed to being a good neighbour and an active member of the community. We ensure communities benefit from our presence while minimising potential impacts from our operations.
We recognise that two-way dialogue is the key to building long-term, enduring relationships with communities directly and indirectly affected by our current and future operations.
We have a range of information and factsheets available to help keep you informed of our progress and activities in and around your community.
QGC drilling and construction activities: 2017 – 2018
QGC’s drilling and construction program of works for 2018 includes drilling wells across QGC’s existing operational areas, with a current focus near Tara and Dalby and gathering pipeline construction.
This activity will supply both natural gas to homes and businesses in Australia and overseas via LNG markets. This activity is designed as one way to sustain QGC’s gas production.
The program of works does not include the construction of large infrastructure such as compression and gas processing facilities. Gas wellswill feed into existing facilities to limit the overall development footprint and minimise environmental impacts.
If you have any feedback or questions about QGC’s activities, please contact us on 1800 030 443 (free call) or send an email
