Shell Physical Gift Cards are redeemable at Shell Reddy Express locations. Shell eGift Cards are redeemable at Shell Reddy Express, Shell OTR and participating Shell and Liberty branded service stations Australia-wide. To locate the nearest service station to you, please use our fuel finder and follow the below steps:
- Select your card type in the services and amenities section; eGift Card or Physical Gift Card.
- The map will display accepting locations. Click on your local/preferred site and look for the gift box icon showing acceptance.
- If your site does not accept your card type, expand the search to locate your nearest Gift Card accepting service station.

How do I use my Physical Gift Card in-store?
To redeem your Physical Gift Card in-store, swipe the card through the EFTPOS machine and enter the 4-digit PIN on the back of the card when prompted. The transaction will be completed once the payment is approved.
If your purchase is larger than your card balance, ask the store team member to redeem the Gift Card for the exact amount available on the card. Then pay the remaining balance with cash or another form of payment.

To redeem your eGift Card in-store, you must add the eGift Card to your Mobile Wallet and tap your Mobile Wallet on their EFTPOS/VISA machine to make a contactless payment.
eGift Cards are supported by all mobile wallets; Apple Pay, Google Wallet and Samsung Pay.
To add your eGift Card to your Mobile Wallet, follow the below steps:
- Go to the Wallet app on your mobile device.
- Click on the plus (+) icon.
- Select Debit/Credit or Payment card on the next screen.
- Enter your card details from your eGift.
- Your card has now been added to your mobile wallet.
When the eGift Card is added correctly, you will see the red Shell Gift Card image. Should you see a barcode, then the card has not been added correctly. Remove the barcode from your wallet, then re-add your gift card again, paying close attention to step 3.

No, you cannot print your eGift Card to redeem in-store. Team members are unable to scan or manually input the eGift Card details into their system to process the payment. Your eGift Card needs to be added to your mobile wallet by going to the Wallet app on your mobile device and adding the eGift Card through the Debit/Credit or Payment Card section.

If your purchase is larger than your balance, ask the store team member to process the eGift Card for the exact amount available on the card. Then pay the remaining balance with another form of payment. These are called “split transactions.” Some stores do not allow cardholders to carry out split transactions. Some stores will only allow you to do a split transaction if you pay the remaining amount in cash.

Apple Wallet:
The number of cards you can add to your Apple Wallet depends on the device.
As of iOS 17, there is no limit to the number of cards you can add on a single device.
Older iOS versions have a limit between 8 and 16 cards. We recommend you contact Apple should you experience adding multiple cards (provided you are not trying to add the same card twice).
Google Wallet
There is no limit to the number of Shell eGift Cards you can add to your wallet.
Samsung Pay
You can add a total of 10 cards. This includes your combined total of bank debit/credit and Shell eGift Cards.
IMPORTANT: A Shell eGift Card can only exist in one wallet at a time. You are unable to add the same card twice.

Shell eGift Cards can be added to the OTR App; however, the card is then restricted to purchases at Shell OTR only.
Within the OTR App, the eGift must be added as a debit /credit card payment (not “Shell Card”).
If you have added your eGift to the OTR App, then wish to use the card at another participating location, you must delete the card from the OTR App, then re-add to your mobile wallet; Apple Pay, Google Wallet or Samsung Pay.

An eGift Card is sent via email and can be used for in-store purchases. eGift Cards are supported by mobile wallets; Apple Pay, Google Wallet and Samsung Pay. eGift Cards offer a convenient and fast way to give a gift, as they can be delivered instantly and used immediately.

Physical Gift Cards are available for purchase instore at participating Shell branded service stations Australia-wide. You can find a Shell Gift Card service station by using our fuel finder tool and selecting ‘Gift Cards – Physical Gift Cards’ in the ‘Services and Amenities’ section. It will help you find your nearest service station quickly and effortlessly.

How do I purchase Gift Cards in bulk and on behalf of a company?
Businesses can register for an account online at Corporate Card Store.
To ensure the legitimacy of the business, certain information such as business name, ABN, address, and other relevant details will be requested during the registration process. This information helps verify the identity of the business as a legitimate Australian entity. Upon submission of the registration, the account undergoes a review process for approval. Once approved, the account creator will receive an email containing login details.

Physical Gift Cards:
Gift Cards purchased instore and online can be loaded with a value ranging from $20 to $500.
eGift Cards:
Gift Cards purchased online can be loaded with a value ranging from $5 - $500.
Can I pay for a Gift Card with a Gift Card?

Vouchers and Gift Cards cannot be used as payment methods for purchasing Gift Cards.
General Questions
Do I need to activate my Gift Card?

eGift and Physical Gift Cards do not require any activation process.
Can my Gift Card be reloaded with value?
Can my Gift Card be reloaded with value?
Once a Gift Card has been purchased, it is important to note that the value cannot be increased or reloaded. The initial value of the Gift Card remains fixed and cannot be modified after purchase.

Feel free to use your Gift Card multiple times until the balance reaches zero. If your purchase amount exceeds the remaining balance, you can cover the difference by using an alternative form of payment.

No. The Gift Card can be reused until the balance reaches a nil value, no matter how small the balance.
Is there anything I cannot use my Gift Card for?

You cannot use your Gift Card for:
- cash or payment of credit, store or Shell Card accounts;
- to purchase Gift Cards;
- some products and services instore;
- Withdraw cash at ATM or EFTPOS facilities.

All Gift Cards expire 4 years from the date of activation. Some Gift Cards for promotions may have a shorter expiry date and this will be included in the Gift Cards promotional terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to check your card balance and expiry date.
Is the balance on my Gift Card updated automatically?

Yes. Each time you use your Gift Card, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from the Card balance. If the transaction is declined the funds are not deducted as there is not enough balance to allow the transaction to be completed.

Physical Gift Cards:
You can view your Physical Gift Card details online at Check Balance. You can also check your card balance at registers in stores or by calling 1300 554 268.
eGift Cards:
You can view your eGift Card details online at Card Balance. You can also call 1800 465 544. Note – Customer service will ask for your PCN, this can be located on your eGift Card below the PIN.
Issues with the Gift Card

I’m having trouble adding my eGift Card to my mobile wallet.
When entering your card details ensure you’re adding the card number starting with 457824, not your PCN starting with 60395.
Apple, Google, and Samsung Wallets have limits to the total number of cards a user can have in their wallet at any one time. These companies have their own security process that may stop a user from being able to add a card to their digital wallet. Shell Gift Cards has no control of these security protocols put in place by Apple, Google, or Samsung Wallets.
Please also note that Shell eGift Cards can only be added to one mobile wallet at a time. For example, if an eGift exists in one mobile wallet and you have a new mobile device, you need to remove the card from your old wallet prior to re-adding it to your new wallet.

There are a few possible reasons why your eGift Card may not work:
- The eGift Card has not been added correctly. If the eGift appears as a barcode in your wallet, then the card will not work. Remove the eGift from your wallet by clicking the 3 dots in the corner, then select ‘Remove Payment Method’. Re-add your eGift Card again and pay close attention to step 3 in the instructions to add the card as a ‘Debit/Credit Card’ or ‘Payment Card’ depending on the wallet you are using (Apple, Google or Samsung).
- The service station you attempted to use your eGift Card may not be a participating venue. To locate the nearest eGift Card accepting service station to you, please use the fuel finder.

Kindly treat your Gift Cards with the same level of care as cash. We are unable to resend or replace any lost Gift Cards.

There are a few possible reasons why your Gift Card may not work:
- The balance you have selected may not be available.
- The service station where you attempted to use your Gift Card may not be a participating venue. To locate the nearest Gift Card accepting service station to you, please use the fuel finder.
- Your Gift Card may have expired. Gift Cards have a 4-year expiry (48-months), which can be calculated from the date of issue.
If your card has funds, is not expired, and you tried to use it at a participating service station and encountered issues, please get in touch by calling 1300 554 268 for Physical Gift Card queries, and 1800 465 544 for eGift Card queries.
Note – When contacting the eGift Card Team Customer service will ask for your PCN, this can be located on your eGift Card below the PIN.

Once funds have been loaded onto a Gift Card, they are generally non-refundable unless the card is deemed faulty. Cash exchange for Gift Cards is not possible.
We may consider offering a refund for a Gift Cards only in situations where the card is unfit for its intended purpose due to technical malfunctions. To obtain a refund in such cases, you will be required to provide proof of purchase. Please note that refunds are not provided for purchases made on a change of mind basis.
