UPDATED statement on fuel deliveries & availability
Oct. 12, 2013
Fuel deliveries to Shell service stations across Australia continue to increase, as Cootes Transport trucks return to service.
In New South Wales, Western Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory and north Queensland customers will continue to see normal availability.
In recent days the number of deliveries made in Victoria has increased significantly, and the company expects the availability of fuel to improve greatly across the weekend.
In south east Queensland and Adelaide deliveries are matching demand, but customers may still experience some temporary product unavailability at small sites. This situation is set to improve early next week.
Shell has apologised to customers that have been inconvenienced in recent days, and appreciates their patience as it works to restore normal fuel availability.
