Contractor inductions
We are committed to delivering energy responsibly and safely, preventing harm to our employees, contractors, local communities and the environment. Every person working on a QGC site must have completed various site inductions.
All new starters, contractors and visitors to QGC are required to complete the relevant induction applicable to their work location. If unsure check with your host or contract holder.

Access this induction via Training Portal. Read the Quick Guide on registering. • Note: Site-specific inductions may also be required at individual facilities. | QGC Curtis Island LNG Facility HSSE Induction | • For All new starters and contractors accessing the LNG and associated facilities on Curtis Island are required to complete the QGC Curtis Island LNG Facility HSSE Induction. | Training Portal |

| Construction and Project Sites | • In addition to the above, workers on QGC construction sites may be required to complete an accredited State General OH&S Induction. Evidence must be provided prior to starting onsite. • Workers may also be required to complete a Principal Contractor induction. | N/A |
| “Safer Together” Industry Safety Induction (ISI) | • The Safer Together Industry Safety Induction (ISI) is an externally provided one-day induction. • It is recommended that Industry New Starts shall satisfactorily complete Industry Safety Induction training prior to working on the development or operation of Facilities in the Queensland Natural Gas Exploration & Production Industry. • Shell Line Manager / or Contract Holder is the decision maker on individuals attending the ISI. • Refer to Safer Together website for information on accredited training firms. | Safer Together Website |
