Shell Card lets you choose the level of control and security you require regarding how, when and where your drivers use their cards.
Restriction of Purchasing Options
Specify the products and services your drivers can purchase.
Have your cards restricted by fuel type or services by selecting one or multiple options below:
- Shell Unleaded/Unleaded E10
- Shell V-Power
- LPG
- Diesel
- Shop
- Lubricants
- Car Wash
- Automotive Repairs
Organising Your Card Deck
- Assign each card to a driver and/or a vehicle
- Choose to allocate cards to a specific cost centre. Cost centres can be up to 18 characters/digits in length.
Odometer Readings & Additional Data Entry Prompts
Choose odometer entry prompts with each fuel purchase. This helps you calculate fuel consumption and monitor driver behaviour.
Choose an additional data entry prompt 'Fleet Id' consisting of up to 9 digits (numerical) with each fuel purchase.
Your Security
- Our offer may be flexible, but one thing we’re firm on is security. Shell Cards are protected by a compulsory PIN code. We work with our service providers to ensure Shell Card systems offer secure payment and invoicing to help protect your business from fraudulent activity.
Other Optional Security Features - Smart Reports, including Smart Alerts (Email Alerts) and Reports*
- Automatic email alerts when transactions exceed defined threshold parameters or exception reporting to further control your fuel expenditure such as missing odometer information
- Monthly fuel consumption analysis report
