Shell Unleaded formulated with 10% ethanol - NSW
To meet the requirements of the NSW state government biofuels legislation, Shell Unleaded formulated with 10% ethanol is being extended to more Coles Express locations.
This move is in line with similar transitions made by other fuel retailers.
Shell Unleaded formulated with 10% ethanol contains Shell’s exclusive Fuel Economy Formula, which is designed to help improve fuel economy by reducing losses caused by engine deposits*.
Shell Unleaded formulated with 10% ethanol can help support the Australian agricultural industry, reduce Australia’s reliance on fossil fuels and result in environmental benefits. Ethanol is a biofuel which contains a renewable fuel component that helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Ethanol in Australia is made from sugar cane or grain and replaces a proportion of refined, mineral base petroleum product.
In addition, Shell Unleaded 95 will be re-introduced at these sites.
*Based on tests using fuel without additives and may vary by vehicle.
