Introducing Shell Unleaded formulated with 10% ethanol

As part of its commitment to meeting the NSW Government biofuels mandates, together with the upcoming Queensland Government initiatives, Shell is transitioning from Shell Unleaded to Shell Unleaded formulated with 10% ethanol at the Coles Express sites listed below.
This move is in line with similar transitions made by other fuel retailers.
Shell Unleaded formulated with 10% ethanol contains Shell’s exclusive Fuel Economy Formula, which is designed to help improve fuel economy by reducing losses caused by engine deposits*.
Shell Unleaded formulated with 10% ethanol can help support the Australian agricultural industry, reduce Australia’s reliance on fossil fuels and result in environmental benefits. Ethanol is a biofuel which contains a renewable fuel component that helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Ethanol in Australia is made from sugar cane or grain and replaces a proportion of refined, mineral base petroleum product.
In addition, Shell Unleaded 95 will be re-introduced at these sites.

Please note the nozzle branding for Shell Unleaded formulated with 10% ethanol at these sites will be yellow. You should also note that the maingrade of fuel sold at all sites other than those listed overleaf will be Shell Unleaded 91 (without ethanol) which will also have yellow nozzle branding.
