Shell Australia LNG project acquire land
Shell CSG (Australia) Pty Ltd (Shell), a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc, has signed an agreement with the Gladstone Ports Corporation to acquire land on Curtis Island for the development of the Shell Australia LNG project (SALNG).

Royal Dutch Shell takes Final Investment Decision on Gorgon LNG project, Australia
The Board of Royal Dutch Shell plc (Shell) has taken the Final Investment Decision on the Gorgon liquefied natural gas (LNG) project, signalling the start of initial construction on one of the world’s largest natural gas developments. Chevron will operate the project, with a 50% stake, with participants Shell and ExxonMobil each holding 25% shares.

Shell Australia CSG-to-LNG Project declared a significant project
Royal Dutch Shell plc (Shell) today welcomed the Queensland Government’s decision to declare its Shell Australia Liquefied Natural Gas Project in Gladstone a significant project following submission of its Initial Advice Statement (IAS). Shell will now commence work on an Environmental Impact Statement in order to develop this project further.

Shell closes Arrow deal and studies future LNG plant in Gladstone
Royal Dutch Shell plc (Shell), today welcomed the closing of the Arrow Energy deal in acquiring a 30% interest in Arrow's Coal Seam Gas (CSG) acreage in Queensland, Australia, as well as a 10% stake in Arrow International - a wholly owned subsidiary of Arrow Energy Ltd, which holds Arrow's international interests in CSG opportunities.
