Applications are now closed for the 2011 Graduate Program.
At Shell, we don't recruit into a generic graduate scheme. Instead, we match each individual to a particular role based on their skills, potential and personal preferences. But wherever you join us, you'll be expected to bring talent, drive and ambition. You'll also need to be ready to take on real responsibility right from the start.
As your career with us progresses, you'll have the opportunity to move sideways into different roles and business areas or upwards into positions with more responsibility. The Graduate programme offers a range of early career development activities, designed to help you maximise your knowledge base and make a real contribution as soon as possible. These include Shell Life, an intensive one-week course for graduates held in various locations around the world and designed to develop your leadership potential. Team leadership, decision-making, interpersonal skills and business acumen are the core elements of the programme.
Graduates get actively involved in the many social investment initiatives at Shell. We recognise the need to nurture and encourage personal development as well as professional development.
These initiatives include Shell EcoVolunteers, where teams of volunteers undertake a wide range of practical activities addressing coastal rehabilitation and protection around Australia.
The Shell Questacon Science Circus programme involves touring around regional Australia bringing lively demonstrations of science at work to disadvantaged children and schools.
