I’m from a small town within the Avon Valley called York, in Western Australia. As part of my traditional links, my father’s family’s links are the Ballardong language group and my mother families links are the Whadjuk language group.
Studied a BA Social Sciences majoring Anthropology, & Sociology.

From day one, my team within Social Performance has always been very supportive and if I ever need assistance or information, I know my team is always there to provide ongoing support and help.
Can you tell us a bit about the support, career development or other things that Shell offers you?
Since my commencement at Shell Australia, my line manager has been very supportive with my career development; and overall Shell as a company can help you focus on your personal career development to become successful. Through Shell’s Open University it enables you to develope your career and understanding of Shell’s business.
Working for a company like Shell, I feel, will advance my career for the future and I would definitely recommend Shell as a company to work for.
Do you have a mentor?
My mentor is very supportive and we regularly connect and stay in contact. We cover a lot of things, including seeking guidance navigating the working environment at Shell. I like to always focus on what I want to achieve during my mentoring discussions to build our relationship; and believe it’s important to always share your experiences at Shell with your mentor.
Do you currently make use of flexible working?
Yes, all the time; I like to work from home at least once a month. Shell provides me a great flexibility to work from home and allows me to spend time with my family.
What type of person do you feel would best suit the working culture at Shell?
Someone who wants to make a different within the oil and gas industry and be part of history.
What advice and insights can you share with us to help candidates understand what they could expect from the recruitment process?
I believe it’s always important to find the right person for the right job.
